Yet more experimentation with different drawing and a more artsy colouring style.
Wow, an angsty picture... I like, NEVER do these. Nonetheless, here we have Kouga brooding over those in his tribe who were lost. Granted, he seems like one of the characters in Inuyasha who does the least amount of brooding over the great wrongs he's suffered because of Naraku (generally he just plunges headlong into his mission) but you know he's got to think about it.
nyeah *__* i like your coloring style! and this pic is good, really good! i like it alot.
Kouga looks good, i love an angest! it's make all things looks so.. real. ^.^
this pic is.. a big WOW.. mm.. i like Kouga's face.
VERY nice lineart! The background is a nice compliment as well... not too detail, simple as the pose itself. I love the colors, really nice too! I especially like his expression and his hair... I also like that you drew him in your own style as well. Not that I'm against drawin' characters "as they should look", but it's kewl to see individual artists renditions too.
Thank you very much! I think I should do this sketchy pencil treatment more often... it's so much less time consuming than inking the pictures.
He he, the background are actually really big letters in a swirly scrip font. A y and an o for yourouzoku and a g and an h for the tribe members he's looking after on a daily basis. Easiest part of the whole pic... I'm glad you think it wroks because I wasn't entirely sure about it.
I wouldn't call this my own style so much as I would an amalgamation of about three styles I've seen here on DA... but I think I might work with it and it could become my style. *scratches chin in contemplation* I'm glad you like it! It's definitely an encouragement to work with it more.
Great job on this. Yeah, Kouga's actually said it but he doesn't openly dwell on things. He wants to get Naraku for what happened. That's been made very clear. Unfortunately, they tend to play him up as comic relief more than a serious character most of the time. I'm dying to see how they handle the later chapters when they eventually animate them. Kouga's new attack and the entire story-line around how he gets it is going to be awesome.

I think his hair needs to be a tad darker though, I mean, unless you wanted it like that. Either way he looks good.
I did have his hair darker before, but I kind of liked the faded sepia tone I was getting when I brought the opacity down a bit.
