I've been skirting around the whole tagged thing... but then I realized that I'd been individually tagged by *
sonicelectronic .
So... twenty facts about myself... I don't know if there's even twenty facts I can tell, but here goes.
1. I'm obsessed with all things mint and chocolate... York Peppermint Patties, Junior Mints, mint chocolate chip ice cream, those mint mocha Frappacinos you can pick up at gas stations... doesn't matter, I'll eat it.
2. To continue on that point, there are very few things I won't eat except for beets (and asparigus when I'm not in the mood for it). My roommates, who are considerably pickier than me, have referred to me as having a stomach of steel.
3. To expound even further on that point, because I thought I could eat anything I tried something rather foolish one time... When I was involved in a video scavenger hunt with Chi Alpha (a Christian Campus Fellowship group) I thought I'd try one of the challenges that got the higher points. This challenge was to eat half a stick of butter. I was nearly finished and then I just... lost it and got sick in a nearby trashcan. That was caught on video. When the tapes were replayed I got applause and a point for the effort.
4. I'm pretty hard to embarrass.
5. I'm extremely clumsy and accident prone.
6. I want to learn Japanese and German... and I want to remember what Spanish I learned in high school.
7. My first word was fish. (Well, okay, it was more like "ish".)
8. I nearly died twice as a child. Once I when I was about one and a half or two years old I nearly hung myself on the cord of some blinds. At seven I got Kawasaki's disease and was in the hospital for 8 days before the doctors figured out exactly what was wrong and gave me the cure (at that point lasting heart problems usually set in... I was lucky).
9. Right after I graduate I would like to do some missionary work before entering the work force... possibly in Romania.
10. I lived in a different state every year for the first five years of my life.
11. At some point I would like to live in South Carolina. I visited there last October and just fell in love.
12. Last year I got six stitches from an X-acto blade wound. Somehow the blade wiggled out of its case, out of the zip up cloth supply book it was in and sank to the bottom of my book bag. When I swung the bag around to get my student id out it sliced across my hip. Lucky thing for me new X-acto blades are so sharp and surgical that it hardly hurt. It was very annoying, though.
13. When I was five I wanted to change my name to Tiffany. Since my parents told me I couldn't I proceeded to name all of my favourite toys 'Tiffany'.
14. I want to see the Pixies in concert before I (or they) die.
15. I have no phobias... but I have THING about slugs. They don't scare me... but they're just not NATURAL. They're little self-propelled sacks of slime, for Heaven's sake. *gags*
16. I'm terribly absentminded. I'm one of those people who would lose their head if it wasn't attached.
17. I love kitschy stuff. Tacky nostalgia just makes me smile.
18. I've never been kissed.
19. Little Women is my literary security blanket. I've loved that book since I was in fourth grade.
20. Kumquat is my favourite word.

The new job (I'm actually doing graphic designerly things now! Making logos and such.) has had me busy. For those of you who have been leaving comments and favs, I am muy thankful to you and am sorry I haven't been commenting back.
